Little Leaguer

This spring/summer Micah is playing T-ball as part of the North Metro Little League.  His team is the Colorado Rockies!! Go Rockies!  Here are a few pics from his first game.

Easter

This Easter was General Conference for our Church, so we didn't have regular church meetings.  Grandma Nancy was singing at her church for Easter and invited us to attend.  By the way, great job Grandma!  After the service we spent the day at Great Grandma Vickery's house.  Micah and Mason just love it there.  Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of the family gathering.

On Easter morning Brian spied the Easter Bunny snooping around our yard while the boys were in the shower.  They were so excited to see what he was up to.

 

Mason couldn't wait to see what was inside the eggs! Man, that Easter Bunny sure did hide the eggs well this year! Starburst candy!  Yum!!

Aspen Update

I know that a lot of you come here because you want to see pictures of the new baby. So here you go.

Fun With Dad

Ever since Aspen was born, I have been trying to do more fun things with the boys.  Here are some of the things that we have done over the past three months.

 We went to the Fire Fighters Museum in Denver.

 We went to the Denver Art Museum (Yay Free days!!)  They had some interactive art that the boy loved.

We have been to the Children's Museum twice, but I always forget my camera.  Luckily we ran into the Christensen's and Jenny took a few pictures.  Also, we went to the zoo and went geocaching a couple of times, but again I forgot my camera.

Last weekend the local library had a live reptile show.  It was very cool.  It was only supposed to be for 5yrs old and up, but after Micah (almost 5) and I arrived and noticed all of the parents with small children in their laps (>2yrs) I called Nicole and had her bring Mason.  There were several lizards including a blue tongued skink, and an iguana; a box turtle, a giant tortoise, and several large snakes (pythons and boa's). After each reptile was introduces it was passed around to all of the kids for the rest of the show. The boys held the lizards and the box turtle several times.  They called the big tortoise the stinky turtle because it went to the bathroom in it's box and it was quite potent.
